Jermain Defoe says there's more to come from him after hitting Portsmouth's winner from the spot on Saturday against Sunderland.
"I come out of training and just sleep all day. I'm looking forward to moving into a house.
"But I have settled in at the club very quickly. If you look at the quality of the players, though, it's not surprising we're challenging for Europe.
"I always knew the team was quality. Obviously when you play for a different team and don't watch them week-in, week-out, it's not until you join them and actually train and play with them that you realise how good the players are."
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp said: "Jermain is a confident boy, he just needs a run of games and he will score for us.
"Playing him up front on his own is not an ideal option whereas Benjani could do that on his own.
"Benji did great for me, but I would be surprised if over a season with the same number of games Defoe did not score more goals."
