Portsmouth's O'Hara targets Capello call

Portsmouth midfielder Jamie O'Hara hopes he can graduate from the England U21s to the full national team.

The on-loan Tottenham star said: "Obviously it's a big ask to push on to England but I have confidence in my ability. If I'm playing week in, week out at least someone might pick up on that and hopefully I can start trying to push myself into that squad.

"People like Mark Noble and James Milner are getting to the door so that's something I have to aim for.

"It would be nice to get into that World Cup squad. It would be a fantastic achievement but obviously I'm just going to get my head down here and work hard and hopefully get Portsmouth higher up the Premier League.

"If I'm enjoying my football and the club is doing well why wouldn't I want to stay?"
