Portsmouth striker David Nugent has ruled out a loan move to West Brom.

One report suggested Albion were ready to make the transfer permanent in January for £4m.

But Nugent declared: "I want to prove to Harry Redknapp and Steve McClaren that I am good enough to play for this club and my country."
