Niko Kranjcar says he always knew Portsmouth teammate Benjani Mwaruwari would be a Premiership success.
"None of us players ever doubted him. We could see in training his ability, his physical ability, and the ability to convert big chances. The biggest thing for a forward is scoring goals and now he can't stop.
"We enjoy playing with him. As a team-mate I can say I've always had big respect for Benji, not only for his workrate but as a footballer.
"He's got great potential as well and great ability, not only to hold up play and score goals but to do everything that a striker needs to do and that is to be dangerous. He's scoring goals this year.
"And that's maybe why people are talking more about him than the past few seasons.
"But everyone who has trained with him and played with him knew that he's got the potential."
