Younes Kaboul says Portsmouth's clash with Bolton Wanderers is the biggest game of the season.
Kaboul, signed for £5million from Tottenham in the summer, admitted: "No, I don't think I've done enough (to keep my place).
"Johnson and Davis are important for us and it is great for the team to have them back. The manager hasn't said anything yet but you need competition in a team for places and that's okay with me.
"I know I must just keep doing my job and keep improving but I'm happy to be meeting new challenges here every day.
"Really, my best position is centre-half but of course I would prefer to play right-back if it gets me in the team.
"It was great to score last week even though the result was a bit of a disappointment for us. And it was great to score against Milan but the next game we face is more important than that.
"It is fantastic when you face big teams like Milan but really Europe was just a bonus for us and it is behind us now.
"I think we still need three more wins to be sure of staying up but the Premier League is always the priority. I'm confident we will do it."
