Portsmouth players were left stranded at Southampton Airport after the company that was due to fly them out for their UEFA Cup match in Germany went bust, reports The News.
Thompson Sport had arranged for another company to fly the players out on a small plane to Braunschweig earlier today for Thursday's game against Wolfsburg.
But Thompson Sport had to make emergency contingency plans after the flight company unexpectedly went into administration.
A second plane, from German company WDL, has been flown in from Cologne to transport the players.
