Sylvain Distin insists he's happy playing for Tony Adams at Portsmouth.

Since Adams took over there has been continued speculation surrounding the future of his players and Distin was one who had questioned whether his ambitions could be fulfilled with Redknapp leaving.

The former Manchester City defender has since spoken with Adams and confirmed that he is happy at Fratton Park.

He said: "I've had a chat with Tony. I don't know if it was because of what I said in the newspaper, but he reassured me."
