Papa Bouba Diop admits he's happy Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp was snubbed for the England job.

He said: "Harry is like Arsene Wenger, like Alex Ferguson - he is a sculptor. That is how I see him because he has created a masterpiece.

"I'm glad Harry didn't get the England job because he's doing a great job and if he hangs around he'll achieve a miracle.

"The fans will tell you they have never qualified for Europe so it would be great for them, the manager and the players.

"Arsenal are a great team but with Harry in charge anything is possible."
