Portsmouth midfielder Papa Bouba Diop believes he's in the form of his life.

Diop said: "I feel that I am playing my best football since arriving in England. I was getting a bit stale at Fulham. The team, in my opinion, wasn't really going anywhere and I needed a new challenge to revitalise my game.

"Some might have seen Portsmouth as a side-ways step, but once I'd met with Harry, heard his plans and looked at the squad in place, I knew this was a club going places. We've proved that already.

"There is a spirit and belief running right through this club."
