The Senegal midfielder told The News: "I have never enjoyed my football more. Much of that is because of our manager, Harry Redknapp.
"With Tony Adams, he makes training a very enjoyable experience. He has a good rapport with the players."
Diop enjoys Redknapp's more informal approach with the players and the 29-year-old claims that it has played a part in the team's impressive recent results.
He said: "Some managers like to keep their distance, but he is always joining in with the players' conversations. That builds up a great team spirit and makes us want to succeed for the manager as much as ourselves."
