Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe admits he envies his teammates' chance of FA Cup glory.

Pompey's £9million record signing is not available to play at Wembley against Cardiff next month after featuring for Spurs earlier in the competition.

He said: "Of course it's frustrating to miss the Cup final. It's something I think about every day.

"The good thing is that if we win against Cardiff then we'll be in Europe next year, which is where we all want to play."
