Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch says his Robot dance is back!

Crouch revealed that he has performed the Robot on the odd special occasion since 2006.

"The last time I did it was at my girlfriend's sister's 12th birthday party," he said. "All the kids were going 'Robot, Robot', so I got forced into doing it.

"I did it and they loved it. Instead of having a clown, they booked me!"

Videos of Crouch's Robot dance went global in 2006 thanks to the internet.

"It was great while it lasted - a bit of fun," the striker added. "I didn't want people to start thinking 'Here he goes again,' so that's why I haven't done it.

"But it is not finished. I've always said if I score in a big, big game, I'd do it again."
