Portsmouth captain Sol Campbell says manager Harry Redknapp is the right man for England.

"Harry is a top manager and has done a great job at Portsmouth," said the 33-year-old.

"I am sure he would entertain it, but the FA have got to approach him and see what happens."

Campbell told the Portsmouth News: "People see him as a 'Del Boy' just because he is from east London - but Harry has got a lot more to him than that.

"I think if he has got the right people around him, sure, it could work."
