Portsmouth winger Williams undergoing Fulham medical

Fulham are finalising a deal for Portsmouth winger Ryan Williams.

The Daily Mail says Fulham are raiding crisis club Portsmouth for talented youngster Williams in a £500,000 deal.

The winger spent Monday at Fulham's training ground undergoing a medical.

Williams is only a fringe member of Michael Appleton's Pompey squad and he is being sacrificed so the club can raise the cash needed to pay a tax bill.
