Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is planning a bid for Real Zaragoza midfielder Andres D'Alessandro.

The Daily Mail says the Argentine midfielder is unsettled at Real Zaragoza and Redknapp could raise funds by selling former Preston striker David Nugent.

However the Pompey boss is likely to keep hold of Nugent until the summer due to the club losing a number of players to African Nations Cup duty.
