Lens defender Nadir Belhadj is interesting Portsmouth.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is turning to Belhadj after fearing he is being priced out of a move for left-back Nicky Shorey.
Shorey, 27, is desperate to get away from Reading - but Portsmouth have been put off by the Championship club's £4m valuation of the England defender.
