Portsmouth suffer Kranjcar injury blow

The Croatian international ruptured his ankle ligament on while on international duty with Croatia last week.

Portsmouth's official website stated: "Niko Kranjcar had surgery on Wednesday morning to repair a ruptured ankle ligament.

Pompey's midfielder faces an estimated eight-to-12 weeks on the sidelines before being able to play first-team football again."
