Portsmouth succumb to AC Milan pressure

Portsmouth has let a two-nil lead slip to a 2-2 draw against AC Milan in the UEFA Cup.

Younes Kaboul put Pompey in front in the 62nd minute before Nwankwo Kanu doubled the home sides advantage just over ten minutes later.

The three points were all but in Tony Adams' pocket until Ronaldinho gave the Italians a glimmer of hope in the 84th minute with a superb free-kick from 30 yards.

Enter Europe specialist Filippo Inzaghi who landed the killer blow that gave both teams a share of the points and broke the hearts of Pompey.
