Portsmouth struggling to fill bench for West Ham clash

Portsmouth management admit they could struggle to fill the bench for their clash with West Ham United tomorrow night.

Pompey first-team coach Paul Groves admits his side could be short on numbers, they listed just five substitutes against Sunderland and also lost Papa Bouba Diop and Michael Brown to hamstring and back injuries respectively during the game.

Groves said: "That's what we've got in terms of the numbers we've got available to us. For different reasons, we've got a number of players out.

"Who we have depends on the lads who got injured on Saturday and the likes of Finnan and whether they're available for Tuesday. At this moment in time, it's too early to make that call."
