Portsmouth striker David Nugent is in the sights of Blackpool.
The Blackpool Gazette says Nugent is the latest striker to be linked with a move to Blackpool.
Portsmouth frontman Nugent was on loan at Burnley last season and has plenty of top-flight experience.
With relegated Pompey struggling in the Championship, and Nugent one of the bigger earners at the club, Pool would appear to have a chance of signing him.
The 25-year-old hails from Merseyside and started his career at Bury before moving on to Preston, where he was capped by - and scored for - England.
Portsmouth paid £6m for Nugent's services two years ago and are unlikely to let him go on the cheap, which means a loan move is most likely.
