Chelsea striker Ben Sahar admits he almost chose NEC Nijmegen over Portsmouth earlier this summer.

He said: "It was an interesting offer to play in Holland. But I wanted to stay in England and I need to play. I thought I had more chance of playing at Portsmouth."
