Portsmouth have signed West Ham United striker Paul McCallum.
He joins on loan for the rest of the season.
McCallum, 21, has had several previous loan spells in League Two with AFC Wimbledon, Aldershot and Torquay.
Pompey boss Andy Awford said the willingness of McCallum, who is yet to appear in the West Ham first team, to make a series of loan moves was a positive sign.
"He's prepared to go out and play football," Awford told BBC Radio Solent.
"A lot of young lads are happy to sit around in a Premier League reserve side, talk to their agents and wait for a big move which very rarely happens.
"He's gone out and played football and he's scored goals wherever he's played and I'm looking forward to working with him."
