FA Cup winners Portsmouth are expected to offer £12 million for Benfica defender Luisao.

Manager Harry Redknapp is keen to strengthen his defence during the summer and Luisao, 27, has a wealth of experience.

The Brazilian international still has three years of his contract to run with Benfica but has become unsettled at the club this season and would have no problem asking for a move.
