Portsmouth set for squad clearout

Portsmouth are expected to perform a mini-clearout in the summer.

The Portsmouth News says already heading towards the Fratton Park exit is Djimi Traore, who has spent the second half of the season on loan at Rennes.

The former Liverpool left-back has made 11 appearances, with the Ligue 1 side reportedly keen to complete a permanent switch.

The futures of Richard Duffy and Franck Songo'o are also in doubt, with the duo failing to make the breakthrough into Harry Redknapp's side.

Meanwhile, the Blues boss would like to keep both Sean Davis and Pedro Mendes.

But the duo are poised for summer departures in the pursuit of regular first-team football which can no longer be guaranteed at Pompey.
