Portsmouth are rivaling Manchester City for Udinese striker Gyan Asamoah.
City are planning a £6 million bid for the Ghana international and Graphic Sport says Pompey are also keen on Asamoah, whose national team captain Sully Muntari has settled well at Fratton Park.
