Portsmouth plan to bid for Palace kid Hills

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is ready to offer £3 million for Crystal Palace fullback Lee Hills.

The Mirror says Hills, 17, has only played 10 senior matches for Palace and scored his first goal for the Eagles on Monday.

But Redknapp wants Hills as Matty Taylor's replacement next season - and hopes to persuade Neil Warnock to sell him.

Palace could demand around £3m, but Pompey have money to spend and aim to beat off bigger clubs before they realise Hills' talent.
