West Brom have rejected a £10 million offer for captain Curtis Davies, it has been revealed.
Birmingham City are preparing a bid for the want-away centre-half and the Express & Star says the Baggies turned down an £8.5m offer for the former Luton youngster from Portsmouth last summer.
It's reported the Fratton Park club even had a £10m bid rejected. It was not made public and Davies knew nothing of it until after former boss Bryan Robson's departure.
Pompey are also believed to remain keen, but Albion are adamant they will only sell their star names this summer for "head turning" money.
