Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones.
The Trinidad & Tobago international has been a big hit on Wearside since his August arrival from Southampton and is attracting interest from Liverpool.
The Daily Star Sunday says Redknapp intends to use David Nugent in a cash-plus-player bid for Jones in January.
