Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp wants to bring Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira back to England.
The Daily Star says Redknapp is ready to launch a £4m swoop for midfielder Vieira after being told the Arsenal legend is not part of Jose Mourinho's plans at Inter Milan.
Pompey are willing to pay Vieira, 32 this month, £100,000 a week to spearhead next season's UEFA Cup campaign.
