Portsmouth goalkeeper David James refuses to accept manager Tony Adams' claims that tonight's UEFA Cup tie with AC Milan is a normal game.
James, 38, maintains: "There is no way you can call this a normal game.
"Up until the draw was made it was just a dream for many people so I think we have to play up the occasion because it is something football fans want. Whatever the result it will be talked about for years to come.
"Hopefully we can get a result and give ourselves the chance of playing Milan again in a later round.
"Maybe their reaction to coming here will help us. The dressing rooms are not very big, a few extra tiles and lights have been added recently but I'd have to say there are a few better ones in the Premier League.
"But knowing Milan must be one of the most professional sides in the world any shock they have will only last five minutes before they realise they have a job to do."
