Portsmouth and Newcastle United are chasing Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The Sun says Gudjohnsen will be part of a massive Nou Camp clear-out this summer.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has made Gudjohnsen, currently on £65,000 a week, and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch his top transfer targets. But he faces stiff opposition from Toon chief Keegan.
The Icelander, 29, cost Barcelona £8million from Chelsea in 2006.
He snubbed an £8m move to West Ham last summer and can now leave for £5m.
