Portsmouth move for Ljunberg a non-starter

Sweden international midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is not a target for Portsmouth said Pompey's chief executive.

The former West Ham and Arsenal star is currently available on a free transfer after being released by the Hammers.

He told The News: "Ljungberg will not be coming, definitely not. We have no interest in him. Motta is here at the moment and we are having at look at him."
