Portsmouth are launching a £7million bid for Olympiacos's Argentina midfielder Fernando Belluschi.

The Mirror says the offer has been put in with the Greek giants by super-agent Pini Zahavi, who looks after the player and is also close to Pompey's prospective buyer Sulaiman Al-Fahim.

However, there will be some interest in the background to the transfer as Olympiacos only own 50 per cent of the 26-yearold international and there could be third-party issues to interest the Premier League.
