Portsmouth are set to land Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
The Daily Mail says Wright-Phillips will become Portsmouth's latest England capture when he returns from Chelsea's pre-season trip to the Far East and Russia, with Harry Redknapp hoping to sign him for around £11million.
Portsmouth were last night concluding the sale of midfielder Sulley Muntari to Inter Milan for £12.7m and will immediately use the cash to land Wright-Phillips, a long-term transfer target for Redknapp.
"Shaun is thrilled at this chance," said a friend last night. "He wants to work with Harry and get himself back to his best form, flying down the wing again."
