Portsmouth kid Ritchie wants Notts County stay

Portsmouth midfielder Matt Ritchie wants to stay with Notts County.

The Daily Star says Ritchie wants to stay at Notts County when his loan deal expires next month.

The midfielder came through the system at Pompey and manager Paul Hart has high hopes for the youngster.

Ritchie said: "I want to stay, nothing has changed with the old manager going. I am settled, I am playing regularly and learning a lot every day by training and playing with so many experienced players.

"I hope the new manager wants to keep me. He is a good coach and I am sure he can make me a better player. I think I have played all right but there is still a lot more to come from me."
