Portsmouth goalkeeper David James will learn today if he will make next week's FA Cup final as he battles with a calf injury.
The England goalkeeper has missed Portsmouth's last two League games, against Blackburn and Middlesbrough, and has been told by manager Harry Redknapp that he will not figure against Cardiff at Wembley on Saturday week unless he is fully fit.
Redknapp said: "I am hoping the scan will show that the tear is healing. But I am not going to risk him at Wembley if he is not 100 per cent fit.
"The problem with David is that he is a maniac for training. He needs to rest the calf but I have a job keeping him off the training pitch."
