Portsmouth keeper James: I've plenty years left

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James says retirement is the furthest thing from his mind.

"I hope my journey isn't finished yet," he told the Daily Star Sunday.

"There are a lot of people who finish their career far too early. I don't intend to finish until I have fulfilled all my dreams.

"Many say that I should have left the field a long time ago, but I always knew I could do a job.

"And if it means doing a job for England then I am so, so happy.

"This is one of the best squads I've been involved in, and I feel that I could go on all the way. We are so good together.

"Everything seems to be going right at the moment."
