Portsmouth goalkeeper David James is backing teammate Niko Kranjcar to be a big hit for Croatia at this month's Euro2008.

James said: "I'll support Croatia because they knocked us out, and although Lassana Diarra is another pal who plays for France, I've got to go with Croatia.

"Nico has come on tremendously this season. Last year he showed some flair but there was a question mark over his fitness. This season his whole game has been consistent."
