Portsmouth keen to bring back Man City striker Benjani

Portsmouth boss Tony Adams wants to bring Benjani Mwaruwari back to Fratton Park.

The Daily Mail says Adams is to step up his attempts to bring Manchester City striker Benjani back to Fratton Park after scrapping plans to sign Real Madrid star Javier Saviola on loan over the Argentinian's fitness.

Adams will offer City £3million to re-sign Benjani, a year after the Zimbabwean moved in the opposite direction for £3.8m.
