Tottenham remain at the bottom of the Premiership after a 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth at Fratton Park. A penalty from Spurs old boy Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch's second-half strike means the North London outfit are still without a league win this season.
The only blot on a good day for Pompey was Lassana Diarra being sent off the in the closing minutes for a second yellow.
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports: "The performance was fantastic.
"We showed great determination and worked hard. We were terrific."
Gus Poyet felt that Tottenham should have been awarded a penalty when Aaron Lennon's cross struck Lassana Diarra's outstretched arm and Redknapp accepts that Portsmouth may have been slightly fortunate.
"Possibly. It looked to me as though it struck his hand. I couldn't quite see but the referee decided it wasn't a penalty."
