Portsmouth included Real Madrid-bound Lassana Diarra in Saturday's defeat at Bolton because he demanded a hefty slice of his transfer fee, it has been revealed.

The Sun says Diarra was ordered to join the Portsmouth squad for Saturday's trip to Bolton because he is demanding a slice of his £20million transfer fee.

Diarra, 23, is on the brink of a dream move to Real Madrid next month.
