Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse could remain in the Premiership next season.

And it is believed his preference is to remain in the Premier League, with Hull and Portsmouth also monitoring his situation.

Sunderland want to keep the French striker, providing they avoid relegation, but the £9million Marseille are asking is a massive stumbling block.
