Portsmouth have handed Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp first refusal on all their players.
The People says the new Spurs boss will be given the chance to sign Fratton Park's top names - including Lassana Diarra, Niko Kranjcar, Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and David James - before any other club.
Redknapp has been promised only limited funds in January but football's ultimate wheeler dealer will sell to boost the kitty, with Diarra and Defoe likely to cost about £12million each.
While Portsmouth have not yet agreed to sell any of their players, Redknapp's switch to White Hart Lane could see Defoe make a shock return to his old club after less than a year, while Diarra has been a long-time Spurs target.
Redknapp sees Kranjcar, 24, as the perfect solution to Tottenham's longstanding left-midfield problem and the player is a close friend of Spurs duo Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka.
