Portsmouth are chasing Crystal Palace fullback Lee Hills.

The People says Redknapp is preparing a £1.5m bid for Crystal Palace's brilliant young left-back Hills.

He wants to move quickly for Hills, 18, who has played a handful of first-team games.

Hills has come through the ranks and many shrewd judges think he could go all the way for club and country.

Palace do not want to lose Hills and are smarting after the John Bostock affair, which saw the kid move to Spurs for £1.25m agreed by a tribunal.
