The Premier League are ready to give Portsmouth the green light to sell players outside the transfer windows.
The Mirror says Portsmouth will be allowed to sell players outside the window, but this has already proved problematic as buyers are reluctant to sign anyone who cannot play for them this season.
Centre half Marc Wilson is wanted by Sunderland but they will not meet the sky-high £4million valuation. Kevin Price Boateng has also been offered to clubs in the past few days but has found no takers.
David James, Hassan Yebda and Nadir Belhadj would not want to be sold and put in limbo for the rest of the season when they have the World Cup finals to play for.
