The Mirror claims that Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is looking to snap up Fredrik Ljungberg on a free transfer.
The Sweden international is available after former club West Ham released the Swedish international on account of his high salary.
Pompey chief Redknapp has admitted because of financial constraints he can only afford free transfer deals.
