Portsmouth have moved quickly to pour cold water on reports that CSKA Moscow are attempting to lure manager Harry Redknapp to Russian football.

"Harry Redknapp is very happy at Portsmouth," a club spokesman told the Portsmouth News.

"An approach from any other club would be unwelcome.

"Harry signed a new contract at the end of last year and is looking forward to leading us into Europe."

Any move by Redknapp seems unlikely with the former West Ham chief rejected the chance to take over at Newcastle last January saying he was happy at Pompey and that he did not want to leave the south coast.
