Portsmouth chief Peter Storrie is excited about the club's preseason trip to Nigeria.
Storrie told The News: "The trip to Nigeria came about after I was approached by Dave Richards, the chairman of the Premier League. Obviously, the Premier League wants to take our football out to these places.
"They want to take it around the world, and to Africa specifically. Africa is a place which is going to go up and up in the next few years, especially with the World Cup going there.
"You wouldn't have thought we would have had an invite to something like this a few years ago. It just shows you how much the club has come on. Just look at back then to now.
"First Hong Kong, then this and I've already had people on to me about next summer."
