Portsmouth chief Storrie dismisses FIFA quota plans

Portsmouth chief Peter Storrie says FIFA president Sepp Blatter's foreign quotas push is of no concern.

"I've not really looked into what was said by Sepp Blatter too much because it's against common market rules," he said. "I can't see it going anywhere.

"Obviously we like to get a nice mixture of foreign and domestic players here.

"There's a fair smattering of foreign players but let's not forget we had three players in the England team. Some of the players we are looking to bring in are currently playing in the Premier League too.

"I think we will have a nice number of English players next season. It has to be a mixture. Prices of UK players are a lot higher than foreign players unfortunately. You need to get a balance, though."
