Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has thrown his support behind manager Tony Adams.
Adams has come under intense scrutiny due to the fact that Pompey are struggling at the foot of the league table but Storrie has made it clear that the former Arsenal man will remain at the helm at Fratton Park.
"There has been no board meeting to discuss the manager's position and there is not one planned," Storrie told the club's official website.
"Of course, both Tony Adams and I have spoken to (owner) Alexandre Gaydamak.
"We do this on a regular basis and at the moment our priority has been focused on adding to the squad before today's transfer deadline expires.
"We are all concerned at our current run of poor results, none more so than Tony and myself.
"However, it's important we all pull together and get behind Tony and the team."
